CRACKLIN' COOK-OFF
For 49
years the Parks Cracklin Cook-Off Association has provided money, time and assistance to individuals, schools, churches, and other non-profit organizations. In this same time frame, the members have
changed but the message remains the same. “We Want To Help”.
It all started with Mark Dore’, a local musician and a couple of civic minded, hard-working people from the Parks community.
The Parks Cracklin Cook-Off Festival Association is held the Friday & Saturday after Easter Sunday, every year.
The Cook-Off is
dedicated to the memory of Mark Dore’.
Sadly, thru the
years the organization has loss a few more members.
