2018 PARKS CRACKLIN' COOKOFF

Members of Parks Cracklin Cook-Off Festival Association, Inc. would like to thank its loyal supporters, volunteers, sponsors, the local communities and the Town of Parks for the Park facilities. This was PCCA’s 42nd Anniversary. Despite the concern everyone had regarding Saturday’s weather many people came out to enjoy the great food and wonderful festivities. The Cook-Off Winning Teams were as follows: 3rd Place * Colt Champagne and JJ Bernice, 2nd Place * Shane Callier and Black Hebert, 1st Place * Shannon Kidder and Peter Paul Bienvenu.
Although every sponsor is extremely important, we would like to give a special thanks to our Diamond Sponsors, Sales Manager Luke Theriot with Don’s Automotive Group in Broussard, Owner Jeff Delahoussaye with Chop’s Specialty Meat’s in Broussard, Branch Manager Clayton Dore with Home Bank in St. Martinville and Managing Partner/Financial Advisor Clint Laviolette with Retirement Resources of Louisiana, Inc. in Lafayette. We’d like to offer another special thanks to the St. Martin Parish High School Art Instructors who motivated their students to participate in the 7th Annual Art Scholarship Contest. The Grand Prize Winner of the $500.00 Art Scholarship for the 2nd Consecutive year is Anna Wright of BBHS. Her Talented Art Instructor is Mrs. Elizabeth Hebert.

The Parks Cracklin Cook- Off Association would like to thank its loyal supporters, volunteers, sponsors, the local communities and the Town of Parks for the Park facilities. This year’s Cook-Off was again very unique as it was the Association’s 40th Anniversary. Saturday’s beautiful weather brought an enormous amount of people out to enjoy the festivities. The Cook-Off Winning Teams were as follows: 3rd Place * Ron Borel and Lance Frederick, 2nd Place * Peter Paul and Shannon Kidder, 1st Place * Beau Geoffroy and Tommy Dooley.

2014 PARKS CRACKLIN' COOKOFF

The Parks Cracklin Cook- Off Association would like to take this opportunity in
thanking its loyal supporters, volunteers, auction item donors, its sponsors, the local
communities and the Town of Parks for its facilities. This year’s Cook-Off was again very
unique as we welcomed our honorary judge for the contest. His name is Stu Barash and
he is the Chief Blogger for Tour Louisiana.com. The Winning Teams were as follows:
3rd Place * Rusty Tullier and Kaido Mc Clendon, 2nd Place * Mills Caillier and Frosty Edgar, 1st Place * Rocky “Black” Hebert and Shane Caillier.
We would like to give a special thanks to the St. Martin Parish High School Art Instructors
who motivated their students to participate in the 3rd Annual Art Scholarship Contest.
They are as follows, Mrs. Deirdre Robertson – BBHS and SMHS Gifted Arts Instructor,
Mrs. Sharyn Dayton – SMHS Art Instructor and Mrs. Ashley Poche Berard – CHS Art Instructor. The Grand Prize Winner of the $500.00 Art Scholarship is Bethany Wright of BBHS.
